Currently, if you wish to answer Live Chat requests in Kayako, you have to be at a desktop machine. Our Windows Mobile Live Support Client allows you to answer Live Chat requests on Windows Mobile based phones. You can choose to stay Away and only answer transferred chats or answer all chat requests with ease. This allows you to leave the office knowing your customers can still reach you without needing to give out your mobile / cell phone number.

Requirements

  • Kayako LiveResponse or SupportSuite version 3.xx.xx.

Version 1.0.1 released on the 25/05/2010 :-
  • Implemented new licensing system. This connects to our licensing server to confirm licences on activation and when you install an updated version. The main advantage of this is you can now revoke licences for instant activation on a new device.
  • Added ability to check for updates within the application. If an update is available, it is downloaded and installed if you choose to proceed.
  • The Licence Agreement now shows when you install the application and on each reinstall / update. It must be accepted to continue.
  • Having an item on the Today screen is no longer required.
  • The optional Today screen item now takes up less space.
  • The application now stays active and connected when the phone goes into standby.
  • Chats can now be transferred to and from the phone.
  • Messages sent from the phone in quick succession now get delivered to the customer.
  • Invalid URLs or login details are now detected by the application and an error shown.
  • You can now optionally have the phone sound an alert or vibrate when a new message is received from the customer.
  • You can now choose if you want the application to connect on startup or if you want to connect manually.
  • Logging is now disabled by default but can be enabled from the settings area.
  • Stopped sessions from getting left open on disconnect or exit from the application.
  • You can now scroll up and down the settings pages if everything does not fit on the screen.
  • Column widths are now adjusted on startup and each time the screen orientation changes.
